Document Generation

The Captegra Platform provides powerful 'in application' word processing functionality allowing all documents to be generated within the platform. No more downloading documents, version control and visibility concerns that exist with standard locally saved documents.


Cross-Browser Editing

Your users will enjoy a WYSIWYG, MS Word compatible, web-based, cross-browser editor that will allow them to create powerful reporting templates and documents anywhere - in any browser on any device.

Instant Mail Merge

No longer do you have to run a merge report, wait for it to generate, download, save and then open the document. With our document generator, your templates can be viewed online before merging, and with the click of a button all the data is merged into the same online document.

Document Protection

Your documents can now be protected by restricting the formatting and editing of the document's content. This allows you to create AFSL compliant documents and ensure that certain text, sections or the entire document can not be altered in anyway.

Excel Import

Microsoft Excel spreadsheets can be imported into documents. On loading, the spreadsheet can be selected from the available spreadsheets, which is then converted into a smart table, including Excel compatible formulas.

Excel Compatible Formulas

Our Document Generation tool supports 100+ formulas, including most mathematical and trigonometric formulas compatible to Microsoft Excel. Typically, a SUM formula is inserted at the end of a table to create a total sum value.

Track Changes

Changes are visually marked up and also available in the new sidebar Tracked Changes that lists all changes with a timestamp and author information. This allows multiple users to collaborate by working on the same document.

Document Protection

Using our document generator, documents can be protected by restricting the formatting and editing of content. When protecting a document, it is possible to define whether the document is completely locked or formatting can be applied.

Editable regions are exceptions within protected documents that can be defined through a start position and a length or through a selection. These regions can be nested and overlap. When protected each editable region is associated with a user which means only this user can edit the region.

This allows our AFSL's to lock of certain components of their compliance documents to that they can not be altered ensuring maximum compliance at all times.






Share Created Documents

In many cases, generated documents must be shared or presented in the application itself. Our online viewer allows you to view all documents online without having to download and save locally.

The Document Viewer is able to render pages in a true WYSIWYG manner, documents are searchable and selectable and provides a simple print functionality to print all resulting documents without downloading.






Track Changes

This redlining feature is very helpful when working on the same document with multiple authors where changes need to be tracked and safely logged.

And for your compliance and training, for each 'Tracked Change', you can retrieve the timestamp, the kind of the change, position, text, highlight colors and the associated author name.







Powerful data visualization in a report or any other documents is essential to get the "big picture". Charts indicate trends and can be used to attractively visualize large volumes of data.






Barcode Support

1D and 2D barcodes make the document generation solution complete and provide a key resource to automated document management. Barcodes can be inserted into any of your documents, invoices or reports to connect the digital world and the paper-oriented world.
